I am trying to use the SF100 on a Freescale MCF52223 Coldfire processor without any success. I have confirmed correct connections. The SF100 will not recognize the device. Is this a supported device?

Hello Tim,
in order to program MCF52223 with SF100, you will need to reset the MCF52223 and its EZPORT first. you will need to follow the EZPORT spec.

please also note that there is no ID with MCF52223 EZPORT, and therefore you will need to manually select this chip. Dediprog Support will email you more details in anothe email.

We are a STB company and am interested in getting offline gang programmer for serial flash, type M25PX64-VZM from Numonyx which is in BGA package.
Going thru the dedi prog site we would like to understand if Race 100-S8 supports the BGA package and what is the programming time for the same.
If yes do we need additional adaptors and whether dedi-prog supports them , if not can you suggest adaptor source.
