Hi all :)

I need to  program a Coldfire device - MCF52259

via the EzPort. This device is not in the device support list.

Do you plan to support this device in the near future?

Best regards,

I have just received my SF100 and I'm attempting to program the MCF52259. Not having any sucess. The programmer doesn't recognize the MCF52259. What settings should I use (SPI speed, etc.).

What should the target's schematic be? The EZPortCS line is tied to the 3V3 via a 10K resistor. The CLK, SDI and SDI are connected directly. The RSTI line is also pulled up by 10K but has an additional 1uF cap connected to ground and a DL4001 connected in parallel to the 10K (however I do see the reset working). The VCC line is not connected as the target supplies power.

I tried switching the the MISO/MOSI lines but still no luck. Have you actually got it working with the MCF5259?

I am using EZPORT on a board with a Freescale M52259 on board. It doesn't program virgin units. Only after I program it with a P&E micro programmer am I able to use the EZPORT. What am I doing wrong?

Hello,

I am using EZPORT on a Freescale MCF52236 and MCF52254. I have followed the "steps to program Freescale" in the manual to EzPort. But without succes.

My crystal is 25MHz, so DIV should be equel "10d", in hex "0x0A. Is it correct?

What could the frequency of SPI be used? I have checked everything. Could you advise me, please? Could you send me another manual, please? I do not know, what is wrong. Please, let me know. The same problem like in the message above.

"What should the target's schematic be? The EZPortCS line is tied to the 3V3 via a 4K7 resistor. The CLK, SDI and SDO are connected directly. They have the pull-up 4K7 too. The RSTI line is also pulled up by 4K7 but has an additional 100nF cap connected to ground. The VCC line is not connected as the target supplies power."
