Is it possible to insert a serial number with auto-increment at a specific location with a specific formatting (HEX/DEC = length) during programming ?
Kind regards,

SF100 supports all serial flash memories. currently it does not support SPI EEPROM. However by upgrading the firmware and software, SPI EEPROM can be supported with SF100. please contact Dediprog at sales@dediprog.com for more discussion.

Technically it is possible to insert a serial number with auto-increment at a specific location. This feature seems to be more related to a Gang programmer such as Dediprog Race100. Are you planning to use SF100 in production? please contact chong.tsao@dediprog.com for detail discussions.

Hi,
I'm using the SF100 to burn serial flash in our production line. I'm using the command line application in order to burn the flash.
is there any API so i can use my own code in order to burn and check if the burn process has passed sucessfuly? currently i need to create a log file and check the file content which is not so usefull since the burning time changes and i can't maximize my timing this way, i need to open a wait window for long period.
thanks.

I have the Dediprog Software 3.0.66 3359... Everything is installed right and I can detect the memory chip but when I select FILE the only option i have is to use Raw Binary.. The Intel Hex, Motorola 519, and ROM file are greyed out. I want to select the ROM file. Why is it greyed out and how do i fix it? Need to know ASAP!!!

I'm new to the programming scene. I am thinking about purchasing the dediprog sf100 programmer. I am also thinking of purchasing the split cable. My question is will this split cable read the mx25L2005? I have viewed the mx25L2005 pin diagram at this link
http://www.semiconductorstore.com/pdf/Macronix/Serial2.pdf (page 2)
It does not match the pin diagram from the split cable. How do i go about reading this chip with the split cable? Or if you may, give me instructions on what pin from the split cable goes on the chip?
Thanks, Joseph

Hello Joseph,
you just need to connect Vcc, GND, CS, CLK, MISO, and MOSI to the corresponding pins of the serial flash.
http://www.dediprog.com/product.php?UID=54
hold pin need to be pulled high on your application. IO3 can be used in case you need yo use it to reset your application in order to switch the SPI bus to HZ state. you can further check the SF100 spec in order to understand more details about the IO behaviors.

I have DediProg Software ver 4.1.70.38. My version has an Edit button where the View button would be as shown in the manual and when I go into the Edit screen I do have have the two buttons on the right, one of which is the "Save to File" button also shown in the manual. How do I go about saving an image from a device?

I am trying to use a SF100 to program a AT45DB642D and it seems to be filling only half of the 1056 byte buffer before writing a page to memory. The software is 4.2.72.3986 and the FW is 2.0.8
